Radisson Hotel & Convention Center Edmonton

Although not all rates included a free breakfast, guests often found the breakfast good quality and satisfying. One guest said, "Breakfast was fantastic with melon, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, pancakes and hash browns. The service in the restaurant was great as well, and everyone left full and happy."  Guests also spoke well of other meals on site.

Although the rooms had been recently updated, it seems that the building is older and this resulted in facilities that needed some upkeep and maintenance, and were still somewhat dated. Recent complaints were: bathrooms were too dark, taps in sink too loose, could hear plumbing sounds in the walls, small toilets, low headroom in shower, old and dirty carpets, old mattress that was clumpy, loud air conditioner, heat control knobs missing, room was cold with no extra blankets, room too hot with AC not working, and paint touch-up needed.

Staff, although pleasant and trying to meet guests' needs, occasionally got on guests' nerves as they were sometimes inept. Some said they needed better training and some claimed they were rude when challenged with hotel failures, not really knowing how to placate the guest and make things right.

Although many were pleased to have ample free parking, occasionally in the winter the lot was very slippery with ice which some guests found dangerous.
