About the hotel: This recently renovated hotel offers a comfortable stay, a 2-minute walk from the dining and entertainment district of Jasper Avenue and 6 minutes’ walk from Edmonton’s City Centre mall.

The 22-storey hotel has 295 smoke-free rooms with elevator access.

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 55” flat screen TV with cable and on-demand movies, a coffeemaker, a desk with ergonomic chair, a safe, an iron and ironing board, an electric bidet/toilet, a hair dryer, slippers, windows that open and climate control.

Some rooms include free bottled water, a sofabed, a separate bedroom, 2 TVs, a living room, a mini-fridge, and bathrobes. Accessible rooms are available.

Rooms are furnished with 1 or 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Parking: Underground parking with a clearance of 6’5” is available on site for $20.95 per night. Oversized vehicle parking is $20.95 per night and available across the street. Electric car charging is available.

A free downtown shuttle runs weekdays during business hours.

The Good
Guests enjoyed this hotel for its newly renovated rooms, its reasonably-priced restaurant with good food and its overall value while centrally located downtown.

Rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed with comfortable beds. Guests also appreciated having slippers, attractive in-room lighting, an in-room safe, lots of plugs and a very large TV with a channel guide.

Location was downtown in walking distance of lots of great restaurants, shopping, museums, a fenced-in off-leash dog park and public transit.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Guests enjoyed delicious meals and room service on site and found them reasonably priced.

Many appreciated good value at this hotel.

Guests also liked: desks with wheels made them versatile tables, a free downtown shuttle, a make-up mirror with natural lighting, a very clean and well-maintained pool, well-priced parking for downtown and being able to park until 5 pm on check-out day.

The Bad
There was some negative feedback.

Recent room complaints were: no microwave in the room, in-room temperature hard to regulate, stains found on bedding and carpet, the bed squeaked, not much counter space near bathroom sink, showerhead was a water-saver type and lighting in bathroom was too dark.

Noise transferred from: in-room heater and electric toilets.

Other comments found were: no snack-type vending machines, parking is shared with the public and pool and hot tub were small.
