The Good
Guests very much liked this hotel.

It was clean. The rooms were quiet, well equipped with mini-fridges, nice tubs, and the king and queen beds provided a good rest. Decor was up to date.

It offered a convenient location. It was close to great restaurants on 104th Avenue, shopping at the Kingsway Mall, NAIT Polytechnic, the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Telus World of Science and the Commonwealth Stadium. Guests also liked using this hotel for accessing downtown.

It was family friendly. Guests liked having a pool, waterslide and hot tub on site which helped to keep everyone entertained. The pool was clean and the slide super fast.

It had a Tim Hortons on site. This provided a great place for breakfast or for a quick coffee and was conveniently open 24 hours.

Staff were great people. They were amenable and helpful with requests, making the stay pleasant. One guest attributed the success of this hotel to the general manager, Douglas who he said was gifted at customer service.

It had a great restaurant. Guests often mentioned the good dining on site. One guest said he was given a $3 discount on an already well-priced breakfast and the restaurant had great views of the airport. Another guest gave a menu suggestion, "Then we tried the Runway 29 restaurant. The steak sandwich with home cut cactus fries, homemade ranch and aioli sauce were out of this world. If you like butter chicken you must have it here, it's to die for."
The Bad
There was not much said that was of a negative nature online in recent reviews.

Some guests said that the parking lot could at times get a little congested due to sharing it with Tim Hortons, but guests still seemed to manage to find a spot.

There were a few room complaints in recent reviews: no blackout blinds that fully darkened the room, bathroom fan and mini-fridge were noisy, room was uncomfortably hot for one guest and some guests said they could hear their neighbours or guests in the hallways.

On occasion a guest found their bed on the harder side.
