Located west of the Trans-Canada Highway and roughly a 15-minute walk from Canmore's city centre, the Georgetown Inn Canmore is well-suited to travellers who prefer a smaller boutique-style hotel with wedding facilities and easy highway access.
This non-smoking hotel has 20 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, all of which offer one king, one queen or two queen beds, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffee/tea maker, bathrobes for each guest, and a hair dryer. There are 7 different types of rooms at this hotel, 19 of which are equipped with a fireplace and a fridge. Rooms with desks, jetted tubs, and sofabeds are offered, and DVD players are available upon request. Hotel amenities include guest laundry and free parking. Pets are permitted for an additional $20 per night
On-site dining is offered at the Miner's Lamp Pub (open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner), while other restaurants located nearby include Thai Pagoda Restaurant (a 3-minute walk up Bow Valley Trail) and Elita Restaurant (a 9-minute walk east of the hotel).
