The Good
The majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's rooms, staff, and location.
Many reviewers described the rooms as beautifully decorated, spacious and functional, with modern decor and furniture. It should be mentioned however, that although many guests were pleased with the cleanliness of their rooms, some reviewers reported their rooms to be dusty, with dirty floors.
The hotel's staff were a source of many compliments by lodgers, who described them as friendly, helpful, and accommodating. One guest remarked, "The staff were also friendly and knowledgeable going above and beyond offering phenomenal service".
Several guests were pleased with the hotel's location. They described it as quiet and serene, with beautiful views, and found it close to Canmore's downtown as well as the Trans-Canada Highway.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a couple of common complaints among them, which included the hotel's elevator and broken amenities.
Several guests complained about the hotel's elevator describing slow service, no service at all, and being caught in the elevator with several guests while a maintenance crew was called.
Some reviewers felt the hotel was showing premature wear and tear, considering the age of the property (it was built in 2010). They reported a broken washing machine and broken air conditioning units, as well as stained carpet and broken light fixtures. It was also mentioned by a few that the Wi-Fi did not work for part of their stay.
The pool size was also a disappointment for some guests, who felt the resort should include a larger pool. They described the relaxation pool as "more like a hot tub".
