Overview
Located a 2-minute drive off of Deerfoot Trail (also known as Hwy 2) and a 2-minute walk to Deerfoot Casino in Calgary's south east quadrant, this hotel is popular with those who want to stay outside of the downtown core. Because of its family-friendly amenities like bunk beds in some rooms and a pool with a waterslide, the hotel attracts many families as well.
All of the 139 rooms at this hotel have free Wi-Fi, a 32" flat-screen TV, bathrobes, a hair dryer, a mini-fridge, a coffeemaker and an iron and ironing board. Standard rooms are available (king or queen beds), as well as more spacious suites (some of which have a jetted tub, a full kitchen and/or bunk beds geared to those travelling with children). Pets are permitted for an additional cost of $15/night.
While there is no restaurant on site, guests are offered a complimentary hot breakfast buffet daily. There are a couple of dining establishments located within a 3-minute walk of this hotel including Moxies at Deerfoot Casino next door. On-site amenities include free parking, an indoor pool with a waterslide, a hot tub and a complimentary shuttle to the nearby Deerfoot Casino.
This hotel is about a 16-minute drive to Fish Creek Provincial Park, one of Canada's largest urban parks. Another popular South Calgary attraction is Heritage Park Historical Village, about a 15-minute drive away. The downtown area (where the business district, the Stampede Corral and the Calgary Tower are located) is about a 20-minute drive away. The Good
Most of the reviews used for this analysis were positive, and guests were most enthusiastic about service from staff and the cleanliness and size of the rooms.

A few guests said that staff were particularly helpful when it came to offering advice on attractions and giving directions.
Rooms were big, clean and comfortable, according to a number of guests. Guests also said that common areas (lobby and pool area) were clean as well. There were comments from guests who felt that the hotel was well maintained.
