Numerous travellers praised the hotel's location, finding it close to restaurants, Kensington Village, shopping, restaurants, downtown Calgary and public transit. One patron noted, "The b&b is located in a great little neighbourhood with loads of fun shops, bars and restaurants to explore. It is only a short walk across the bridge to downtown".
The hotel's breakfast was the source of many compliments by reviewers, who described it as fresh, delicious, filling and varied. One guest remarked, "I would say the food was amazing! Our breakfast consisted of a eggs benedict skillet with fresh herbs and hollandaise sauce, peppered bacon, chili dusted potatoes, orange juice and a fruit salad".
