Located about a 3-minute drive from the nearest Trans-Canada Highway on-ramp and a 7-minute drive from Calgary's city centre, River Lee Executive Bed & Breakfast is geared towards business or vacation travellers who prefer a small, centrally located hotel with free Wi-Fi, a free breakfast and easy highway access.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a DVD player, a desk, a bathrobe and slippers, a phone with voicemail and a shared or private bathroom. Rooms with air conditioning, an iPod dock, a sitting area with a sofabed and a fireplace are also available, and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

The hotel also offers free bike rentals, free laundry service, a fitness room, a business centre, BBQ facilities, a garden, free parking and a free breakfast. Pets are not permitted.

Calgary Convention Centre can be found about 6 minutes away by car, while CORE Shopping Centre is a 7 minute drive away. The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's location, breakfast, staff and rooms.

Numerous travellers praised the hotel's location, finding it close to restaurants, Kensington Village, shopping, restaurants, downtown Calgary and public transit. One patron noted, "The b&b is located in a great little neighbourhood with loads of fun shops, bars and restaurants to explore. It is only a short walk across the bridge to downtown".

The hotel's breakfast was the source of many compliments by reviewers, who described it as fresh, delicious, filling and varied. One guest remarked, "I would say the food was amazing! Our breakfast consisted of a eggs benedict skillet with fresh herbs and hollandaise sauce, peppered bacon, chili dusted potatoes, orange juice and a fruit salad".

Several lodgers were pleased with the hotel's staff, characterizing them as accommodating, welcoming and helpful with directions and suggestions. One guest mentioned, "Diana was a fantastic host. She was probably the highlight of the trip for our daughter who she took under her wing. She had dead-on suggestions for things to do with a family and graciously accommodated our late departure".
