The Good
Guests typically enjoyed their stay at this hotel.
more They liked the location. It was walking distance to downtown attractions and interesting restaurants, and it had good access to Hwy 2 and the airport express bus.
They liked the rooms. Guests said they were clean, quiet and nicely appointed with comfy beds. Some liked the trendy decor and artworks. Suites were large with huge balconies.
They liked the staff. They were described as hard working, personable, accommodating, friendly and super helpful.
They liked the on-site amenties. Some guests were pleased with the work out facilities and liked the convenience of parking right next to the hotel. The poolside bar was also enjoyed with good drinks and a DJ providing music.
Some felt the hotel offered great value and room rates were competitive with other hotels.
The Bad
Although guests seemed well pleased overall, they did offer some critique of where they felt the hotel fell short.
more Recent complaints included: couldn't stream YouTube with Wi-Fi, poor view from the east wing, clogged shower head, poor water pressure, tub had a very slow drain, noisy and ineffective AC units, dim in-room lighting, no fridge in the luxury king room, gym was small and hot with only tap water for drinking, room's window had a privacy covering that did not allow guests to see out unless the window was opened, and the pool is intimidating to use as others can watch you from their balconies and from pool side tables.
Guest reviews were mixed about the on-site dining. Some complained about the prices and service and others found the food mediocre, although there were guests who had enjoyed their breakfasts and other meals on site.
Some guests complained about the room service. Complaints included: an extremely long wait, rude staff and overpriced and poor quality sandwiches.
Some rooms had elevator plus stair access and guests were surprised to have to carry their bags to their rooms up a staircase, once they had reached their floor by elevator.
One guest complained that the general public had access to the hotel's pool.
