Overview

About the hotel: This popular hotel offers handy access to Calgary's international airport (YYC), with a 15-minute free shuttle ride for guests.

The hotel offers 101 smoke-free and pet-free rooms over 10 floors with elevator access.

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a 37 or 40 " flat-screen HDTV with cable and on-demand movies, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and climate control.

Some rooms include a sofabed, a separate bedroom, a second TV, a kitchenette (stove top, mini-fridge, microwave), a table and chairs, and a hot tub. Accessible rooms are available.

Rooms are furnished with 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Free parking is available on site. Electric car charging is available.

Extended parking is offered for $5 per night.

A free 24-hour airport shuttle is available and runs on demand or every 45 minutes.

A free hot breakfast is offered to all guests with to-go breakfasts available.

A free beverage area is available in the lobby.

There is no restaurant on site, but guests will find a Burger King in the parking lot and Habebe's Restaurant across the street, about a 4-minute walk.

The Good

Guests really liked this beautiful and very clean hotel. They found it to offer great value and were pleased with all the free amenities available to them.

Although it was in an industrial area, guests found the location offered easy access to the freeway and had restaurants in walking distance. There was lots of free parking just outside the hotel.

The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and some enjoyed good views. Others said the rooms offered good amenities and space, lots of channels, nice walk-in showers and comfy beds.

The breakfast was delicious and satisfying with a good selection, and many were pleased to have free fruit and beverages available in the lobby.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive.

The free airport shuttle was highly appreciated by guests. Guests said the shuttle took 5-10 minutes.

Guests said the pool and hot tub were inviting, a decent size and enjoyable. The fitness room was well equipped and in good condition.

The Bad

The hotel received a lot of perfect scores, so problems seemed to arise as isolated circumstances and not as a matter of course.

Recent negatives found were: bathroom needs a fan, AC blows directly on bed, and a loud compressor fan near the room made a loud humming sound.

Occasionally guests mentioned that the hotel was a little out of the way.
