The Good
Many guests enjoyed staying at this hotel and lots of reviews were very upbeat.
more The location was convenient. Guests found it easy to get to town on foot or by bus with the stop just outside the hotel. Guests also found restaurants and shops nearby, a short walk away.
The staff were highly appreciated and many felt they delivered great service. Snowy windshields were cleaned by the valets for the next morning and guests loved this thoughtful service.
The rooms were usually quite pleasing. Guests often said they were spacious and the fireplaces and large bathrooms were the highlights. Many also found the beds comfy.
Spa services were praised by those who reviewed them.
Many guests also enjoyed the buffet breakfast or other meals at the restaurant on site.
Guests appreciated the hot tub and mineral soaking pool and found these relaxing.
The Bad
Some guests were less enthusiastic and dissatisfied with one or more aspects of their stay.
Some guests complained of dated decor and average rooms. Other recent room complaints posted were: rooms were dimly lit, room uncomfortably hot, passers by could look in on main floor rooms facing the street if curtains were not drawn, room was small, Premium King rooms were not luxurious at all, coffeemaker was in the bathroom, clothes closet was in the bathroom, jetted tub was tiny and something you would find in an older apartment building, toiletries had an unpleasant smell and housekeepers offered inconsistent service.
Some complained of noise disturbances. These guests faced the elevator or could hear guests coming back late in the hallways through the doors and some faced the street with noise from traffic and passers by.
Guests left mixed reviews over Wi-Fi. While some had no problems, many reported it being very unstable and even unusable.
More than one reviewer told of how they had booked a room with 1 king bed, only to be given a room with 2 queen beds.
Some guests did not like being greeted upon arrival by the warnings issued by the front desk of potential fines for having parties etc. This approach somewhat soured the stay for some guests and one guest from overseas thought it was very inhospitable and wrote that he was welcomed with a "lawyers letter".
A few guests were disappointed in the pool on site. They found it too small for swimming and thought of it as a children's pool. The fitness room was also described as small.
Some felt the hotel was overpriced and should offer an included breakfast and parking for the prices charged and some guests who were more upset with the hotel said this hotel did not represent the Delta brand well.
