Guests loved the location. It was out of the noisier downtown area, but still an easy drive to town. It was quiet and beautiful. One guest said he saw wildlife there every day.

The restaurant was enjoyed. Guests found the breakfast and dinner tasty and well priced with attentive staff. One recent guest wrote, "We ate outside on the restaurant deck several nights and really enjoyed the food."

The Bad
Negative comments focused on noise and the size and age of the rooms and common amenities.

Several guests felt that the rooms did not have much soundproofing. Guests could hear their neighbours and footsteps from above.

Some guests felt that certain rooms were very small and that some could also use updated decor and furniture. One guest explained, "Just could do with updating - usually have safes in hotel rooms these days; could do with better lighting (down one side of face only) and ventilation in bathroom. Also could do with redecoration, carpets very worn."

Some guests also complained about the pool and hot tub area being in need of renovation and the fitness centre machines being quite old.
