Overview
This hotel is located a 3-minute drive from the Trans-Canada Highway and a 3-minute walk from restaurants on Banff Avenue, while still near to the peaceful Bow River trails.

The smoke-free and pet-free hotel has 211 rooms over 5 floors with elevator access. 

All rooms include Wi-Fi ($10 per day-unlimited devices), cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a table and chairs, a laptop safe, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, air conditioning and a private balcony or walk-out patio. 

Some rooms include a sofabed, a separate bedroom, 2 TVs, a living room, a gas fireplace, a DVD player, a microwave, a 2-person multi-jet shower, a heated bathroom floor, a 2-person hot tub and a jetted tub. Accessible rooms are available.

Rooms are furnished with 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Self-parking is underground and heated with a clearance of 6' and costs $10 and valet parking is $15, per day. There is also limited large vehicle parking behind the hotel. Electric vehicle charging is also provided.

Restaurants on site: 
Chinook Family Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner on site.  
La Terrazza features Italian cuisine for dinner. 
The Terrace Lounge offers apres ski drinks and light fare in the evenings. 
Room service and Sunday Brunch are also available.

The Good
Guests enjoyed their stay at this hotel finding it well located and well priced. 

Guests liked the location. It was in a beautiful setting, and central to the main town, close to restaurants, groceries and shops as well as the river trail. Some found a playground nearby and rented canoes behind the hotel.

Guests liked the rooms. They were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Some also appreciated having mini-fridges in the rooms.

The staff were very well liked. They were considered professional, accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Guests often enjoyed dining on site. The food services were deemed to be very good and well priced.

Guests enjoyed the pool. They were excellent, modern, clean and open late. The eucalyptus steam room and hot pools provided a fun and new experience to some guests.

Adding value to the stay were: the gift shop on site was convenient, the excellent breakfast buffet, the ski bus pick up and drop off right outside the hotel, indoor (warm) parking and a complimentary car wash.

Guests often said they were repeat guest or would return in the future to this hotel.

The Bad
Some guests provided negative feedback online.

Occasionally guests were disappointed that the hotel was charging extra for Wi-Fi and parking. 

There were some noise complaints. Noise was heard from: the train whistle, elevators, partying guests, heaters, renovations and a hallway door to another part of the building.

Some guests said that the hotel needed updates and better cleaning. Complaints included: hotel was worn out with a dated and slightly dirty interior, bathroom was tiny and unpleasant, AC did not cool well, mattress was stained and dust in corners of room.

Other recent complaints posted were: bell staff did not help up with luggage, not enough lighting for applying make up or shaving in the bathroom as the new bathrooms are too dimly lit.
