Getting Around: Driving
The airport offers three car rental service providers, which include Norcan, National and Budget. There are several local cab companies available.

Although there are other means of transportation to get to your hotel from the airport, access to a vehicle, or a cab fare budget, would be recommended if you plan on doing any sightseeing throughout Whitehorse and the surrounding towns in Yukon, as most attractions are quite spread out.

The airport is serviced by bus on the route called Route 3 - McIntyre-Hillcrest. 

Buses run Monday to Friday, every hour from 7:22 am to 7:22 pm. There are additional pick-ups on Friday night at 8:22 pm and 9:22 pm. 

On Saturday, buses run every hour from 8:22 am to 7:22 pm. There is no service on Sunday. 

The one-way cash fare for all ages is $2.50 for this route. Guests planning to make heavy use of the public transit system, or who are travelling in groups of two or more, may want to consider purchasing 10-ticket strips, which cost $23 (for a $2 overall savings). For youth 18 and under, 10-ticket strips are only $15 (for $10 in savings), and for seniors 60 and over, they are $10 (for $15 in savings).

There is a public parking lot, which includes accessible parking, at the airport. The first hour of parking is free and the rate is quite modest, at $1.50 per day after the first hour.

The airport does advise that the lot is not supervised and that passengers leave their vehicles at their own risk. They also note that vehicles parked illegally or in a "no parking" zone will be ticketed.
