Location
Containing over 2 million square feet of retail space, the South Edmonton Common is the largest open-air shopping plaza in North America. Located in South Edmonton, at the intersection of Gateway Blvd NW and Anthony Henday Dr., the shopping centre is easily accessible by car.
Getting Around
Walking from north to south of this sprawling complex could take one approximately 25 minutes, granted you don't stop to shop along the way, so a directory and parking map (parking is free) of the power centre can be found on their website.
Since the shopping centre is located at the intersection of two major thoroughfares, getting around by car is quite easily done. Downtown Edmonton is an approximate 15-minute drive north of the mall, while the Edmonton International Airport (YEG) is a 10-minute drive south.
