The Westin Prince is the closest hotel to the hospital at about a 5-minute drive. (It's 22 minutes away using public transit.) It's a little more expensive here and Wi-Fi and parking are both extra. The Delta seems to be a little easier on the budget and is only a 7-minute drive to the hospital. (Public transit is a little long at an estimated 37 minutes.) This is a clean and well-kept property that has comfortable beds, clean rooms and friendly staff. They also have 3 on-site restaurants and a large indoor saltwater pool designed in a beautiful atrium area with waterslides that is perfect for family enjoyment. True to it's name, North York General is situated just north of central Toronto in North York. It is a teaching hospital spread across three sites. The General Site is the hospital's main, full-service site with one of the busiest emergency rooms in Canada. The Branson Ambulatory Care Centre and the Urgent Care Centre at Finch and Bathurst (a 15-minute drive away) offers out-patient and mental health services and the Seniors' Health Centre is a geriatric care housing community nearby, located on Sheppard (a 3-minute drive away).
