Location
Grande Prairie Airport (YQU) is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and is an approximate 10-minute drive or taxi ride from the centre of town. The area directly surrounding the airport consists of open fields along the highway and some industrial buildings.
Parking
There is both a short-term and long-term parking lot at the airport. Short-term parking is metered and the rates are $0.25 per 15 minutes, with a 2-hour limit.
Rates for long-term parking past the 2-hour limit are $1 per hour, $8.00 per day or $56 per week. Upon entering the long-term lot, you take a parking ticket to keep until you return to pick up your vehicle. When leaving the lot, you insert your ticket into the machine at the exit, which will calculate your total and open the gate to leave.
