Tips For Staying Near Fallsview Casino

This casino is a 2-minute drive or an 11-minute walk from downtown Niagara Falls. The surrounding area is a bit of a tourist trap—shopping and dining is more expensive here than elsewhere in the city—due to the casino’s location just a 5-minute walk from the Horseshoe Falls.
Getting Around
Because this casino resort is so close to downtown, it is serviced by public transit. All routes start running between 5:45 and 6:30 in the morning. The bus service for most routes ends around 11:30 pm. Niagara Region Public Transit does operate on Sundays and most holidays, but with reduced routes: only the #2, #5, #6, and #10 buses run on holidays and Sundays. The fare for a day pass is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. It is free for children under 5. A 10-ride card for adults is $45.

WEGO bus efficiently connects tourist attractions in Niagara. Adults can purchase a day pass for $7 and have the following day free. For children (6-12), a day pass costs $4 with the second day free, and WEGO is always free for children under 5 years. Find a location and purchase your WEGO pass in advance, as you will not be able to do so on the bus. WEGO hours are more extended than regular public transit: the first bus leaves the casino stop between 9 am and 9:30 am, depending on the route, and the last bus comes in between 12:30 am and 1 am. WEGO runs on Sundays and all holidays!

The Fallsview Casino Resort does not offer a shuttle service, however, all of the following hotels are within a 14-minute walk of the casino.
Short-term parking is available for $5 a day Sundays through Fridays, and $10 a day on Saturdays. Long-term parking is available for guests at the same prices as short-term parking.
There are four bars and lounges at the resort. 356 Club boasts live music every weekend, R5 has a distinguished cocktail menu, Breeze Bar has many plasma TVs, and Splash likewise has a big-screen TV. The bars are open 24 hours, and serve alcohol from 11 am to 1:50 am.

Ponte Vechhio, within the resort, serves excellent Italian foods, including some great vegetarian options and desserts. It is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 5 pm to 11 pm and is closed Sundays and Mondays.

An Asian buffet is also available on site at the Golden Lotus (Mondays through Fridays from 11 am to 2 am, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 2 am). The lunch buffet is $15, while the dinner buffet is $20.

There are many more on-site dining options, including Johnny Rockers, Subway, Tim Hortons, Starbucks and Second Cup.
This casino has over 3,000 slots and video poker machines in denominations ranging from 1¢ to $100. There are over 100 tables for blackjack, poker and more. There's also live music every weekend at 356 Club. The resort also has a spa where guests can relax and unwind.

The Horseshoe Falls are just a 5-minute walk away, and the American Falls are 10 minutes away on foot (you can also take the WEGO bus). Besides walking along the lookout and taking in the misty beauty of the Falls, this area features a couple of adventures set up for tourists: the Journey Behind the Falls and a ride on the Maid of the Mist.
