This late 19th century hotel was originally a ship captain's mansion
According to plenty of former guests, the Blomidon Inn is the place to stay in Wolfville. Originally a Scottish ship captain's mansion, it's a step back in time, with its Victorian-style decor and gardens with walking paths and ponds. It's the closest hotel to the university, within a 20-minute walk or a 3-minute drive, and located only a 10-minute walk from downtown Wolfville. There are vineyards and botanical gardens to visit in the area as well.
There are wonderful chef-made meals to enjoy, with homemade bread and jams for breakfast (included in the rate), lunch, afternoon tea and dinner all available on site at their licensed restaurant. Amenities are modern with comfortable beds and quality linens and some suites have fireplaces and balconies which overlook the gardens. (I'm packing my bags right now!) Parking and Wi-Fi are included.

Location
Situated in the Annapolis Valley, near the Bay of Fundy in the town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Acadia University was founded as a religious ministry school. The school now offers a number of programs across four different faculties, Arts, Science, Business Studies and Theology. A limited number of research and graduate study courses are also offered.
Getting Around

A public bus runs from Greenwood to Wolfville, and from Wolfville to Brooklyn from 7 am to approximately 9 pm. Cash fares are $3.50 and more information and maps can be found on the Kings Transit website.
