The Good
Guests really liked this hotel. It was a friendly and peaceful place to stay with nice amenities and staff.

The location was very convenient. It was an easy walk to the downtown shopping area, with the Scotiabank theatre and restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Guests loved being close to the river as well for the walking path and views it provided.

Guests found the staff accommodating. They were gracious and generous with guests and the guests often found them extremely friendly.

The rooms were very well liked. Fast Wi-Fi, extremely comfortable beds and very clean surroundings were very pleasing to guests. Club rooms offered delicious appetizers.

Guests enjoyed the dining on site. Some comments were: "One of the restaurants has a great outside patio and the appetizer and salad selection was great. Great little coffee place as well." "All the meals provided by the hotel for our working group and the conference were delicious, healthy and plentiful. Our group had breakfast, lunch and dinner provided over several days."

Guests thought the waterslide and pools were amazing. They spoke of the kids having a blast and described a bar area near the pool for guests who wanted to relax poolside.

The Bad
There was very little negativity found in the reviews as many guests seemed very satisfied with the hotel and its services.

One nitpick was that parking cost extra and some guests found the clearance for underground parking too low. One guest said he had a standard SUV and was unable to access. The surface lot was somehow displeasing, at the back of the hotel with no apparent entrance from the back.

Occasionally guests said that parking was limited at the hotel.

Noise was sometimes an issue. Guests cited heaters in the rooms, elevators nearby, children at the pool and guests in the hallways.

Some guests were disappointed in their city views (overlooking the parking lot) and some found their rooms small.
