The Good
The hotel was well liked by guests and received a lot of perfect scores.

Guests really liked the location. It was in walking distance of major shopping, great dining, cinemas and a block to river trails.

Guests found the rooms very clean and comfortable. They were spacious and well decorated with comfortable beds and had great river views.

The restaurant was very well liked. Some thought it was a good place for drinks and appetizers and others said it had great food and excellent pizza. One recent guest wrote, "Aroma's food is always tasty and the servers rock!"

The staff were well regarded. They were described as excellent, efficient, friendly and helpful.

The pool and waterslide added value. It was described as very clean, warm and well maintained with a huge and comfortable hot tub.

Guests liked having secure and easy underground parking.

Guests often reported good Wi-Fi service at the hotel.

The Bad
Although the reviews were typically very positive, there were some naysayers in the bunch.

Several guests mentioned that the waterslide was only open on the weekends and this did create disappointment for guests who were not aware of this policy.

Occasionally guests complained about the parking. The extra charge was displeasing to some and it was occasionally mentioned as tight for larger vehicles. One guest complained about getting a fine from a third party for not displaying a dash tag on his front dash (although he claimed to not have received one or been made aware that he needed one.)

There was the very occasional room complaint including: no bathroom fan, room was basic with a small bathroom, room was overpriced, no mini-fridge or microwave in the room, a noisy heater or AC unit, and the shower had curtains that allowed water to get on the floor.

Some felt the elevators were slow.

Very occasionally a guest felt the restaurant offered a limited menu and was expensive.
