Overview
The Park Town Hotel overlooks the Saskatchewan River and provides direct access to the riverfront trail system. This hotel is ideally located for guests who like to stay near downtown amenities but also appreciate the scenic beauty of the Saskatchewan River. It offers modern in-room amenities, free shuttle service, well-liked restaurants and a pleasing indoor pool facility. 

This hotel has 172 smoke-free rooms and suites. Common room amenities include free Wi-Fi, free wired Internet, free local calls, a 37" HD flat-screen TV, a Keurig coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a work desk, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and individual climate control. Rooms may be furnished with 1 or 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. Room extras include river views, iPod docks, bathrobes, an electric fireplace, a double jacuzzi, a luxury walk-in shower with multi-shower heads, a chaise lounge, a sofabed, one or two 42" flat-screen TVs, a 50" flat screen TV, a wet bar, a microwave, a separate bedroom, a second bathroom and a dining table.

Underground parking is available for $13 per day and surface parking is $10 per day. The hotel provides a complimentary airport and area shuttle service Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 10 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm. The shuttle does not operate on Sundays or holidays. 

Pets are permitted for an additional fee of $25 per night.

The hotel offers dining and entertainment on site. Four Seasons Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Riverside Lounge offers light fare and cocktails, Finns Irish Pub is open for lunch and dinner, and Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club offers entertainment with light fare on Fridays.

Guests liked the location of this hotel. It provided a pretty setting near the river and bridge with access to walking trails, as well as downtown shopping and dining.

Many guests seemed to be frequent guests. The pleasant atmosphere, natural setting and friendly staff all played a part in making guests feel at home. Guests often mentioned the staff by name and said that they were great to chat with.

Many reviewers seemed to say the same things about the restaurants on site. Guests typically found the food to be very good and the prices reasonable.

The pool was mentioned quite often in the reviews as an amenity that added value to guests stays, and was relaxing. Guests also appreciated having a free shuttle service offered to them.

Guests who complained about this hotel were definitely in the minority, judging from recent online reviews that were read for this report.

There were some complaints with regard to the rooms. Occasionally guests complained about the rooms being too dimly lit or a bit dated. A couple of guests also found their rooms and bathrooms small and very occasionally a guest had trouble with the in-room heating or cooling.

A few guests complained of uncomfortable pillows, which were either too large or too firm.
