The Good
This hotel was well liked by many of its guests who found it looking like new and very clean, with pleasant staff at the front desk.

The rooms were often described as spacious, well equipped, and quiet, with comfortable beds.

The hotel's breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn Express buffet with special cinnamon buns, pancake machine, eggs, a choice of bacon, ham or sausages as well as baked goods, fresh fruit and yogurt. Guests found it satisfying and served in a comfortable dining area.

Many took pleasure in the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub and found them refreshing and enjoyable. Several were pleased to be treated to freshly-baked cookies and coffee in the lobby, and others were pleased with the reasonable room price.

Some guests enjoyed the central location which they found handy to downtown businesses, the train station, the Meewasin trails, downtown shopping and restaurants. Others used it as a base for accessing various tournament locations around the city.

The Bad
Although the hotel received a lot of praise, it had some weaknesses according to some guests.

Some reviewers mentioned that the hotel is in an area of town that is a little run down or sketchy and some advised not to walk after dark in the area. It seems that the hotel is monitoring the security of the hotel and parking lot as has been stated by the management's responses and also the following guest reviewer, " It is not in the best area of Saskatoon, but I noticed security patrolling the parking lot and hotel at night, so security does not appear to be an issue."

Although guests advised to take rooms away from the train track side, guests continued to report that they did not hear any train noise during their stay. "It is right next to a rail crossing, but I do not think it is used often as we had zero noise issues." was one of the typical comments found.

A few guests reported slow Wi-Fi.
