This hotel is situated within a 1-minute drive of Highway 16 (Yellowhead Trail) and is within a 3-minute drive of the John G. Diefenbaker International Airport (YXE). Offering convenient access to the highway, this property is well located for guests looking to explore the area by car.

All rooms are smoke free and include a flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and air conditioning. One-bedroom suites at this hotel include a separate living area with a sofabed, a dining table, a microwave and a mini-bar. Ground-floor rooms also feature an exterior entrance. 

Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Pets are permitted in select rooms for an additional fee of $25 per stay. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, while free wired Internet is available in guest rooms and at the on-site business centre.

A free hot breakfast buffet is offered daily from 6 am to 10:30 am. This hotel does not have an on-site restaurant but guests found a Denny's close by.

Many reviewers thought that the room rates were expensive and that the hotel did not offer good value for the money they spent. 

The rooms were often described as dated and in need of upgrades. Many guests noted that the rooms needed new paint, carpeting, furnishings and bathroom fixtures. While several guests described their rooms as clean, as mentioned above, a couple of reviewers said that their rooms did not meet their cleanliness expectations. However, as noted above, the hotel is undergoing renovations in 2014, which include updates to the guest rooms. The renovations may address some of the concerns expressed by guests.

Although several guests praised staff members, a few guests found the front desk agents unhelpful and unresponsive to their concerns and complaints.
