The hotel offers free complimentary breakfast and each guest room features a coffee/tea maker. Guest parking is free and the Comfort Inn Saskatoon welcomes pets. Other hotel features include daily housekeeping, wake-up calls, safe deposit box located at the front desk, in addition to complimentary toiletries in each guest bathroom. There is a currency exchange located on site and guest rooms feature satellite television, as well as a pay per movie option.
The GoodSome guests complimented the Comfort Inn Saskatoon for its suburban location and felt that it was a peaceful place to stay.
Guests on the ground floor were allowed to open their patio doors, allowing easy access in and out of their hotel rooms.
Some guest reviews from Hotels.com praised the hotel's proximity to attractions and felt that the Comfort Inn was easily accessible to restaurants, entertainment, shopping districts and John G. Diefenbaker International Airport.
The Continental breakfast scored big with many hotel guests, and several guests mentioned the hotel's comfortable beds and pillows.
The Bad
Some hotel guests were not impressed with the hotel's level of cleanliness. While some guests commented on clean rooms and clean linens, other guests felt that the level of cleanliness was sub par. A few guests mentioned that their rooms were skipped by housekeeping, or that the housekeeping staff forgot to bring clean towels. A large number of guests also complained of smelling smoke inside the lobby and in their hotel rooms.
The sound of traffic isn't an issue due to the hotel's location away from the main road. But paper thin walls within the hotel allowed some sounds to travel from room-to-room, wherein a few guests could hear their neighbour's television and alarm clocks.
Hotels.com rated the Comfort Inn a 3.2 out of 5 and 58% of guests recommended this hotel at the time of writing.
Booking.com uses a 10 point rating scale and gave the hotel an average score of 6.9.
TripAdvisor.com ranked the Comfort Inn #22 out of 29 hotels in Saskatoon. Average guest ratings were 3 out of 5 points.
