"Surprised and disappointed"
"I was put in a smoking room when I booked a non-smoking. The room was filthy. The tub had used water in it and the drain did not work. I was told there was no other rooms available. When I called the front desk for the second time, I was told the manager would get involved and within 5 minutes I was being moved to another room. So much for no available rooms! The new room was not much better. Worn and damaged furniture, horrible lighting etc. Quite surprising as the entrance to the hotel is very nice and appealing. Not impressed!"

"Reported to Housekeeping management that staff failed to supply fresh sheets to the bed & sofa bed on the check in date.
Really surprised to find that the linen was not changed when the previous guests vacated the room. I can see an oversight on the sofa bed but not on the main king size bed in the suite.
The problem was rectified within 45 minutes however no discount was offered for the inconvenience.I wanted to relax after driving for 8 hours and had to wait to do so until the situation was rectified.
We were advised that the hotel was experiecing housekeeping issues and that was the reason for this gentleman's visit to the hotel, to find out the issues and get them sorted."

"The Sandman in Regina was top shelf. Excellent, excellent hotel. I would have no problem recommending the hotel to any of my friends and colleagues. I would not hesitate one second in booking this hotel again for myself. Again, top shelf !!!"

"My only complaint is the lack of queen size beds. I don't know why any hotel would even consider putting double beds in any room. I realize that some rooms probably have the queen size, but we couldn't get one, and the double is awfull for 2 people to sleep in. All of my above answers are totally about the bed size. Other then this everything was great.Thanks."

"I feel that I could have had a better rate by walking in the door and asking for a good corporate rate. $160 plus cdn is a lot of money for a hotel in Regina. The room was very big, sitting area with TV as well as TV in bedroom, sink, fridge, etc, which is good, but if just booking a good room for a few hours sleep, the extra is not justified. Their rate at the desk was around $114 plus, plus, and when we phoned after this was booked thru your company, they offered a room at $99 plus plus. However the room was v good & is a new hotel."
