The Good
This hotel was favourably reviewed by many guests. The rooms, location, staff and dining were commonly praised in recent online reviews.

Many liked this hotel for the restful and peaceful sleep they obtained here. As one guest put it,"Very quiet hotel as there is no pool which usually means no children. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, good shower, in room fridge and coffee. Everything I needed."

Guests often told of how the staff exemplified great service. They were friendly and gave late check outs to a large group of marathoners, so they could shower before hitting the road; they helped guests who had surgery, checking up on them, bringing extra pillows etc.; and they recovered lost pieces of jewelry.

Many reviewers found the hotel conveniently located for accessing the highway and exploring the area by car, while several guests found shopping and quality restaurants in walking distance. Many also appreciated having free parking.

A number of guests enjoyed dining on site. One guest wrote, "good supper specials in hotel restaurant", and another said, "We ate breakfast on two occasions. Both were fantastic!"

Several reviewers felt the hotel provided good and even excellent value.

The Bad
There were a few complaints made by guests who either felt the hotel rates or the restaurant prices were high.

Some guests felt inconvenienced that the hotel's restaurant and lounge hours were irregular, and closed early unexpectedly at times and there were a few guests who missed having a free breakfast.

A couple of guests complained that they could not easily adjust the AC units in the rooms, and a few guests said the carpet in the elevator was dirty and needed to be replaced.

Other isolated complaints included: a loud AC unit, no view from a guest room, gym was small, and rooms were a bit dated.
