The Good
This hotel was well liked overall. The hotel is renovating and currently has the top 5 out of 25 floors completed.

The rooms that are not renovated guests found dated and uninspiring, but clean and well maintained. The renovated rooms were enjoyed for decor and the more modern amenities offered, such as the tech-enabled SmartDesk and modern storage solutions. Guests seemed to find nice white crisp bedding in all rooms and some commented on pleasing views of the city skyline on the higher floors.

Guests found the staff welcoming and helpful and many were pleased with the location for being near to shopping, restaurants, trade shows, the downtown business district, the airport and the Mosaic Stadium.

Many guests enjoyed dining on site. One recent reviewer wrote, "Restaurant on the main floor serves good quality food. The hamburger is terrific for lunch, the steak is excellent and the breakfasts offer a variety of very tasty foods. Something for everyone."

Guests with children enjoyed the indoor pool and waterslide and some reviewers mentioned that the free Wi-Fi service was fast and reliable.

The Bad
Some guests offered their critique of the hotel and its offerings.

A large number of the rooms are yet to be updated. Although guests with the dated rooms found them clean with comfortable beds, they still found the room distinctly average. Some also complained that there was no mini-fridge or microwave in their rooms, and found them lacking in value for the expensive price tag.

Several guests were disturbed by noise. They complained of noisy neighbours, children in the hallways and rooms near elevators. Some had noisy AC units and there was some mention of noisy compressors and pumps that could be disruptive to light sleepers on the older, unrenovated floors.

Some complained about the parkade being a little far from the hotel, but others were pleased that there was a walkway from it to the hotel. Some found the underground parking a little tight for larger vehicles, but secure and convenient.
