The Days Inn Regina Airport West is an accommodation located just off Highway 1 and just south of the Regina International Airport (YQR). The general impression of this hotel among guests was positive. The pool features a water slide, something that provided great entertainment for guests travelling with their children. Finally, this truly is an airport hotel. Many guests chose this location as it is a stone's throw south of the Regina International Airport (YQR).
The Bad
Fortunately for this hotel there were not many negative comments. Complaints were fairly uncommon and somewhat isolated. One reviewer on Hotels.com mentioned that while the pool was great for some it was not well suited for younger children. Apparently it was quite deep with no shallow end. A business traveller on TripAdvisor.com mentioned that the walls were thin, making it easy to hear neighbouring guests talking during the night. Finally, there were a handful of complaints from TripAdvisor.com reviewers that the front desk staff were unfriendly at times, however this type of complaint was not a trend.
CanadianHotelGuide.com guest reviewers rated this hotel 7.8 out of 10 points at the time of writing. There were not many reviews to browse from this source (nor were there many from other sources as well), however the vast majority of guests recommended this property and generally enjoyed their stay.
Hotels.com guest reviewers enjoyed their stay at this hotel for the most part. There were a few small complaints from some guests however these issues were somewhat isolated and minor. This property scored an impressive 4.4 out of 5 points based on average guest ratings.
TripAdvisor.com reviewers for the most part liked this hotel. There were a few complaints regarding unfriendly front desk staff, however this was not a typical comment.
