The Good
This hotel was highly praised by many reviewers who found it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway.

Guests were typically wowed by so much of what the hotel had to offer, from its fine dining to its beautiful views of the lake and manicured gardens. Rooms and public areas were finely appointed with much attention to detail and guests found comfort and luxury with attentive service from capable staff.

Many were pleased with the value offered by way of room prices with free Wi-Fi and parking, and with regard to the restaurant, and many guests planned on returning to the property.

The Bad
This hotel did not always succeed in impressing its guests.

Negative reviews did not appear that often online, but they did follow certain themes. It seems that guests of the restaurant were sometimes treated curtly and some even felt disrespected at times by bossy or condescending staff or managers. Guests told of occasions where they were not allowed to bring off-site food to the hotel grounds, were not allowed on the restaurant's patio although others were seated there and were denied ketchup for their fries.

Sometimes guests were disappointed with their meals and they provided negative reviews of the food at the restaurant.

There were also some guests that were disturbed by noise from the nearby highway. Some said it could mostly be heard from rooms that did not overlook the lake. Other guests complained of being kept awake until 2 am when music from on-site wedding receptions finally ended.
