Open from January through April, the Ice Hotel is completely redesigned each year by talented ice sculptors out of nothing but tons of ice and snow, and is located on the shores of Lake St. Joseph, approximately 30 miles from Jean Lesage International Airport. Local attractions include the Village Vacances Valcartier, approximately 19 miles away, and the Carnaval de Quebec, located 25 miles from the property.
Hotel amenities include unique ice sculptures and artwork, snowmobile rides, dogsledding, ice fishing, snow sculpture building, walking trails, skiing, ice skating, snow slides, outdoor hot tub, sauna, gift shop, heated dressing rooms and bathrooms adjacent to the hotel, two exhibition rooms, an ice chapel, fireplaces, live entertainment, nightclub, multilingual staff, and a 24-hour front desk. Dining options include the on-site fireside restaurant, hot beverages in the morning, and drinks in the N'Ice Club, and the Ice Lounge.
Guest rooms feature ice furnishings, sleeping bags atop fur pelt-covered beds, wake-up service, and bathrobes. The dressing areas and bathrooms are shared amongst all guests.

the coolest room in town - literally. no need to worry a
comfortable bed is waiting for you. the hotel and all
furnishings are entirely made of ice and snow and that
includes your bed. blocks of ice form the base-followed by
a solid wood box frame that provides the initial separation
from the ice. a thick foam mattress covered by a fleece
sheet as well as soft deer pelts complete the bed. when the
evening arrives a warm and soft sleeping bag is delivered
to your room. the room is soft lit by fiber optics that run
through the ice. the ice rooms do not offer private
bathrooms. there is a heated facility on the premises for
guests to use. no need to worry about being to cold - all
rooms come with a back up room with private bath and heat
just across the street. this room has 1 bed which is
approximately queen size. no rollaway allowed.
