The Good
The hotel is in the process of renovating both rooms and public spaces and recent guests typically enjoyed their stay.

The views and setting of the property was very well liked. Guests enjoyed the natural beauty of the area, nice golfing, the well landscaped and clean outdoor pool area, the terrace and the well maintained clay tennis courts. Guests spoke of pretty mountain views from their balconies and views of Saint-Sauveur.

Guests often enjoyed dining on site. Guests recently enjoyed the breakfast buffet for quality, price and selection. One reviewer recently wrote, "The dinner menu was varied and the prices were reasonable ($25 table d'hote with soup, main dish and dessert). The service in the restaurant was excellent in a family-friendly way; very attentive and not pretentious."

Many guests were pleased with the hotel's location. They found it to be close to skiing, good restaurants nearby, shopping, Saint Sauveur, and highway access.

Guests often liked the staff. They were described as professional, efficient, accommodating and friendly.

Guests enjoyed the renovated rooms but not the unrenovated rooms. The rooms that were renovated had newer amenities, furniture and fixtures and were much more pleasant and comfortable to guests. Currently, the Marquise and Tyrol section offer renovated guest rooms, according to reviewers. Guests often reported clean rooms at the hotel.

Guests often mentioned that the hotel provided good value. Adding value to the stay were: good spa treatments, new machines in the gym, food sold at the outdoor grill area was reasonably priced, indoor pool area well maintained, nearby nature walks/trails, wonderful piano music at breakfast, poolside dining available and guests enjoyed an outdoor dinner and show with dancing on Friday night.
