The breakfast included several traditional items, such as bagels and muffins, but also included eggs, omelets, bacon and sausages. The majority of guests seemed happy with the bonus items.
The friendliness of the staff also impressed some guest reviewers. Several guests thought that the check-in speed was fast and some were happy to see an English-speaking receptionist. Comments regarding the staff were plentiful, with many guests describing them as "incredible" and "helpful."
Many guests also seemed pleased with the nightly rate and several guests mentioned comfortable beds in their reviews.
The Bad
Guest reviewers rarely spoke negatively of the Holiday Inn Express, however, there were a few complaints regarding noise and the size of the rooms.
Comments regarding the size of the guest rooms were seldom mentioned in guest reviews, however, some reviewers on TripAdvisor.com felt that the rooms were a "bit small."
It seems that the majority of guest reviewers weren't bothered by noise inside and outside the hotel. However, one guest reviewer complained of being able to hear highway noise from inside his room. He apparently had a room facing the street as he recommended that other travellers ask for a room that doesn't overlook the roadway.
