Overview
This resort property is located in the neighbourhood of Charlesbourg and is about a 20-minute drive north of downtown Québec City. This property is ideal for guests who prefer secluded, full-service accommodations away from the downtown area. The resort is about an 8-minute drive along Highway 73 from the nearest Highway 40 interchange (major thoroughfare in Québec).

The entire resort is 100% smoke-free and all rooms and suites include free Wi-Fi, a TV with pay-per-view movies, a coffeemaker, air conditioning, and an iron and ironing board. Select suites also include a fireplace, a jacuzzi tub, and a view of the on-site golf course. Rooms may be furnished with 1 double bed or 1 queen bed and a sofa bed. Suites may be furnished with a combination of a queen bed and a twin, double, or sofa bed, or 2 king beds.

Free parking is available on site and pets are not permitted.

The on-site restaurant, Le Dijon, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room service is also available.

On-site recreational facilities include an outdoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor fire pit, a sauna, a spa, and a golf course (18-hole Golf de la Faune). Free passes are available for an off-site fitness facility (5-minute drive away). Other on-site amenities include safe deposit boxes, dry cleaning (extra fees apply), luggage storage, and a business centre.

The Québec Ice Hotel and Bar (includes tours of the hotel and ice sculptures) is a 2-minute drive away (or a 15-minute walk). A big box shopping complex is about a 9-minute drive away, located off Highway 40, which includes several restaurants, Mega-Parc (an indoor amusement park) and Le Galleries de la Capitale (shopping centre).

Downtown Québec City is about a 20-minute drive away and features the following attractions: Plains of Abraham (historic battlefield and concert/festival venue), the Québec Citadel (historic fort), Québec City Convention Centre, and Le Grand Théâtre de Québec (performing arts venue). Old Québec is also about 20 minutes away by car and features the Château Frontenac (historic site and hotel), boutique shopping at the Quartier Petit Champlain, and the Québec-Levis ferry.

Many guests described their rooms as clean and well maintained. A few reviewers also thought that their beds were comfortable and a few guests found their rooms to be well appointed with modern furnishings. A couple of reviewers noted that they had pleasant views of the golf course from their guest rooms.

Several guests thought that the on-site golf course was well-maintained and these guests also mentioned the golf course as a value-added feature. Other value-added features mentioned by guests included the on-site spa, free parking, and the outdoor fire pit.

The staff throughout the hotel were frequently complimented for their service and guests described the staff members as friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. One reviewer said that the customer service was "exceptional".

The Bad
As mentioned above, positive reviews for this property outnumbered negative reviews, among the reviews sourced for this analysis. However, there were a few common concerns and several isolated complaints mentioned by guests.

A few reviewers thought that the menu at the on-site restaurant was expensive and that the food portions were small. One guest said that she split a meal with her husband and their bill was $67. A couple of guests described the wait staff as inattentive.

A couple of guests complained that there were no amenities, such as shops or restaurants, within walking distance of this hotel. 

A couple of reviewers thought that the pool was too small and one guest was disappointed that there were no towels provided in the pool area.

Isolated complaints included: difficulty locating the property because of inadequate street signage, no in-room mini-fridges, expensive green fees for the on-site golf course, uncomfortable sofa beds, and expensive room rates.
