"Best Night Ever"
"The best hotel experience ever. Have heard many great things and finally got the opportunity to spend one night. It was special occasion, I had proposed to my girlfriend. The staff was exceptionally helpful in setting up the whole event. Everyone was bilingual and never ceased to amaze and surpass all my expectations. Would definitely stay another night for many future special occasions."

"Disapointed"
"As a hotel ordinary guest (that is not a Gold guest) we felt very let down. Unfortunately for us there was a conference on when we were staying and this seemed to dominate the hotel. For example we found it hard to get a seat in the bar or terrace lounge and there was no where else were guests could go. The room we had booked with a city view was unavailable, we were offered a better room but it looked into the forecourt!!! I was aware that the hotel is a landmark hotel and is open to the public but didn't expect to feel as if as a guest we were inconsequential.
We've been put of staying in Fairmont hotel. This hotel was a real letdown.
Maybe the hotel is just to big!!!!!"

"Excellent location and great holiday atmosphere."
"The Staff were very polite and well mannered.My partner and i really enjoyed the down to earth hospitality and happy nature of the people doing there job.I liked the location and access to walk where ever we liked and beautiful features of the old Quebec."

"Perfectly located, clean, comfortable, great service."
"The Chateau Frontenac is perfectly located for a stay in Old Quebec City, within walking distance of many historic sites and surrounded by restaurants and cafes for any price range, as well as a fabulous selection of shopping. We were greeted on our first day with a selection of sweets in our room, and any service requests were met with a smile and prompt service. The renovated 2 double bed room was beautiful to look at, and comfortable for a week's stay. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again ourselves."

"A very pleasant experience"
"Interesting hotel. As a family the pool was and gym were very welcomed (gym could be enlarged). Lobby was very crowded. It would be worthwhile to develop an area were clients could sit casualy and talk."

"If you've never been there, get a *detailed* map of downtown with directions to the hotel or you will have a hard time finding it.
Dinner at the hotel is superb.
Breakfast is better done at other places like L'Omelette.
Use the concierge to find places about town. It is an excellant service for newcommers."
