The Bad
As mentioned above, positive reviews for this hotel greatly outnumbered negative reviews, among the reviews sourced for this analysis. However, there were a couple of common concerns and a couple of isolated complaints.

A few guests said that the free breakfast lacked variety and selection. One reviewer said that the free breakfast included mostly pre-packaged food items. A few guests thought that the dining area for the free breakfast was too small and often crowded.

A couple of guests were disturbed in their rooms by noise from neighbouring rooms, such as conversations, footsteps, and doors closing.

As noted above, although many guests described their rooms favourably, there were also several complaints. Some reviewers felt that the rooms were too small. Although some reviewers described room furnishings as modern, others mentioned feeling that the furnishings and decor in their rooms were old and dated.

Isolated complaints included: one guest did not receive the room that he had reserved and another reviewer experienced a power outage while at this hotel and discovered that the emergency lighting was not in working order.

"Lovely stay"

"My wife and i don't go for fancy. We like clean, well maintained and friendly. That is exactly what we got. The continental breakfast was fresh and the coffee was hot. Repotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants of all types and within walking distance. I would recommend this establishment to anyone."

"OK for the price"

"Room was clean and attractive. Flat-screen TV required staff assistance to get operational. The assistance was prompt and friendly. Tub spout has a constant drip. Continental breakfast very unfriendly to persons on gluten-free diet. Location a bit far from downtown Quebec City but was not a problem for us. Visited with two teenage grand-children and found the two adjacent connected rooms worked very well. The teenagers would have enjoyed the pool if there were one. Overall, price was reasonable and the facilities acceptable."

"The quality of the breakfast is below average. I think it won't cost you much to upgrade it."
