"Good place to stay for the cost"
"The gym was very hot, there was no air conditioning and the smell from the pool was very strong in the gym area which made it hard to breath. There were a few good places to eat around the hotel and the walk up to the Old Town was easy enough with the map we were provided with by the staff."

"We had breakfast at the hotel. I had fruit, yogurt, bagel & cream cheese. My husband & daughter had bacon, eggs & toast. About an hour or so later my stomach was quite upset, I think it was the yogurt which was not in a sealed container, but served in an open bowl. My companions where fine."

"If you are a non smoker, ask not to be placed on the 6th floor witch is the only floor with smoking rooms.
When you check-in, double check the night rate, as they didn't want to respect the one we reserved at, even with the confirmation print-out."

"Please take care about the guest own-controlled schedule to use the internet-connected computer in your lobby. I had two bad experiences with other guests because of this confusing and not well adhered schedule. Now internet consultation is a pretty frequent activity, even during Hollidays. This was not a hotel crew fault, but you can work in it to improve your service. Thanks, very much. Was a good time in there.

"We had bought some perishables at a farm and expected there to be a mini bar fridge in the room. There was none and we had to pay $15.00 a day for a fridge. 2 nights stay + taxes. That was more than the cost of the stuff we wanted kept cold. Also there were no pay per view movies. Our friends staying in the non-smoking room next to us were very disapointed. The room reeked of smoke. There was also an ash tray and matches. They kept the window open as much as they could but it still stunk. There were no other rooms that were supposedly none smoking so they had no choice."

"The Best Western hotel chain is more along the lines of a motel, however the price they charge is that of a hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and I don't think I will stay here again. I have stayed at a number of hotels and this has to be one of my least favourites.
Customer service at the Quebec City location was good however I have encountered a few other locations (or on the phone) where customer service was very frustrating. So this also turned me off the hotel chain."
