Overview
Located beside Perce Bay along Highway 132, the Riotel Perce is popular with road travellers who prefer a hotel with direct beach access and an on-site restaurant along the highway. Open from May 17 to October 12, it is a good choice for those vacationing in spring through fall.

This non-smoking hotel has 90 guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a desk and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one queen or two double beds, while various rooms and suites offer additional amenities such as air conditioning, a kitchenette, a sitting area with a sofabed and a bathrobe for each guest.

This property also offers 12 mountainview pavilions 1.6 km from the main building, each offering two double beds, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker and a hair dryer. Please note the pavilions do not offer air conditioning and guests check-in at the main building. All pavilion guests are welcome to use the main building's amenities.

Hotel amenities include fitness facilities, an outdoor hot tub, a business centre, meeting/banquet space and free parking. There is an outdoor terrace that overlooks the water. On-site dining is offered at Le Bonaventure sur Mer, serving breakfast and dinner daily from May through October. Pets are not permitted, and the hotel does not offer wheelchair accessible rooms.

There is also a free shuttle service between the train station and the hotel based on your arrival time.

The Good
Of the reviews consulted for this analysis, the majority were positive. Guests spoke well of the hotel's rooms, location and staff.

Numerous guests were pleased with their rooms at the hotel. They were described as spacious, clean and well equipped, with great views of the Perce Rock and comfortable beds and linens. A few reviewers did have complaints about their rooms, however (see below).

The hotel's location was praised by many lodgers. It was found to be close to highway access, within walking distance of the pier, close to the Perce Rock and central to everything in Perce.

Several reviewers were satisfied with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as friendly and courteous, providing a fast check-in service.

While the majority of guests were pleased with their rooms, a few lodgers had complaints. These guests complained of dated decor and furniture. They were also disappointed that their rooms did not provide air conditioning and found their rooms to be too hot. It should be noted however, that executive rooms in the main hotel do provide air conditioning.

Noise transfer was mentioned by a couple of reviewers, who reported being able to hear traffic noise in their rooms late at night.
