The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers. It was described as being close to McGill University, Old Montreal, Mont Royal, the Latin Quartier, restaurants, shopping, and the Metro.
Many guests were pleased with the hotel's staff. They were characterized as helpful, friendly and professional, providing great recommendations for restaurants and attractions.
Several lodgers praised the accommodations at this hotel. They described their rooms as cozy, clean, well equipped and lovely, with comfortable beds.
The hotel's included breakfast was a source of several compliments from reviewers. They found it to be delicious, ample and excellent, with superb coffee. It should be noted however, that a few guests felt there should have been more variety, as the same things were served several days in a row.
The Bad
While the majority of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a couple of complaints about the lack of elevator, the shared bathrooms and the parking.
Some guests were disappointed the hotel did not have an elevator. These guests described carrying their luggage up 3 flights of stairs, and recommended that those with mobility issues book a room on the first floor. It should be noted however, that the staff will help carry luggage when asked.
A few reviewers found sharing a bathroom with other guests to be inconvenient. They reported having to wait to take a shower, especially in the morning hours, which they found to be inconvenient. These guests recommended booking a room with a private bathroom.
