"As a frequent visitor to Montreal I have stayed at quite a few hotels but never in the Westmount area. The location is quiet but a little too far away from the Latin Quartier/St Laurent/St Denis and other areas where I socialize. The staff was very helpful and courteous and the complimentary breakfast was an added bonus and not your typical muffin/croissant deal but waffles, eggs, etc. I would suggest to anyone who is a light sleeper to avoid rooms that end in the number 6 or 7 as these are located right next to the elevators and the droning sound can drive you crazy. I requested a different room and although they were pretty booked up the request was handled perfectly. The kitchens are fully stocked and adequate. Overall I had a pleasant three night stay at this hotel and there are plenty of cabs and the Atwater subway stop is nearby and convenient to reach others areas of the city, however, I prefer walking."

"I went to this hotel for new years. The location was pretty good, and we were able to park our car in the underground parking, but I don't think they would have taken big cars....so watch out.
It's also good to have a whole kitchen during your stay.
Overall, pretty good....if you like the rate you get, everything else is fine."

"I was very impressed by this hotel, the office staff was very pleasant to talk with and had great advice for attractions and transportation. The room was spotless and just as expected, I couldn't have been happier. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from St. Catherine Street and a block away from a metro station. A nice, quiet neighborhood with everything you need in walking distance. I would recommended this hotel to anybody, whether you're going for a weekend, or you just got married, its is a great hotel with great people and great location. We especially liked the off street parking, we didn't have to worry about our vechile while we were there!!!!!! Great job Residence Inn!!!! :)"
