"Of the 2 nights I was there,I lost two nights sleep because of the hotel. The alarm in the next suite went off @ 13:30am and I had to get the front desk to come and shut it off. I then couldn't get back to sleep because of the fan overhead. It kept cutting in and out.
The next night, my smoke detector went off just as I was falling asleep. The girl couldn't shty if off so ended pulling it out. I was offered to sleep in a different room but I thought I would be ok. There were 2 other smoke detectors that went off and I had to call front desk each time to shut them off. I then requested to get a different room as I didn't feel safe in mine. The manager explained that it was because of the cold and we were not in any danger of a fire. He was pleasent enough but offered no compensation. I did sleep in a different room from 03:00am on. Although I told several of the staff of my nocturnal activies, there was no offer of compensation,or apology for both my nights being disrupted."
