Overview
Located along Highway 138 and about a 30-minute drive from Montreal, the Motel Pignon Rouges is suitable for business or vacation travellers who require a hotel with meeting/banquet facilities, a free breakfast and easy highway access.

Each of the hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms and suites comes equipped with free Wi-Fi, cable TV and a private bathroom. Rooms with a jetted tub, a fireplace, a mini-fridge, a hair dryer and a coffeemaker are also available, as are smoking and non-smoking rooms. 

Hotel amenities include 24-hour reception, meeting/banquet facilities, a business centre, a free continental breakfast and free parking. Pets are not permitted and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

Carrefour de la Pointe offers shopping about a 6-minute drive away, while Montreal Island Golf Club can be found 3 minutes away by car. Although a few reviewers found their rooms to be clean, numerous reviewers had complaints about their lodgings. They reported poor Wi-Fi signals, dirty rooms, dated decor, cigarette odours in non-smoking rooms, plumbing issues and a lack of toiletries. Noise disturbances were also reported from guests in adjacent rooms and noisy air conditioning.

Although a few lodgers enjoyed the hotel's coffee, several guests found the free breakfast to be a disappointment. They described it as poor and limited, only consisting of toast, juice and coffee.

Several travellers complained about the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as unhelpful, impolite, disrespectful and unprofessional. 

Although a few reviewers enjoyed the hotel's tranquil setting and proximity to highway access, some guests were disappointed with its location. They found it too far from downtown Montreal and also mentioned there were no restaurants nearby.
