"The room was like a jail cell with steel bunk beds mould in"
"The room was like a jail cell with steel bunk beds, mould in the washroom no bathtub only a shower, dirty shower curtain, hard mattresses, TV mounted in a upper corner very bad cable reception(don't turn on the hair drier the TV will short and shut off), The worst is I GOT BITTEN BY BEDBUGS, I am covered by bites and sores over 1/2 of my body; Head to toes, Manager on did give me and my family a free night but at what cost to my health?"

"The location is really good for some one that wants to go for a walk to China quarter, Down Town, St Catherine street, Old Montreal. The price is accordingly with the quality, what you see is what you get!. Just a place to sleep and nothing else. Should you like to enjoy a pool, ammenities and other services available in big resorts, this is not the right place for you.
I agree with travelers that point out what deficient the restaurant staff is but I can say that the Front Desk is really helpful.

"The receptionist at the front desk was great and patient with me when there was a mistake in the reservations I made. The hotel was to be paid and reserved with a credit card that wasn't mine and it was reserved just not paid for. As I made a phone call back down to NY where I live to get it worked out she helped me the entire time and I was able to get what was needed faxed up. The rest of the time was pretty good. I enjoyed it and the people who worked there were very friendly. Especially that one receptionist."

"The hotel was fine for what I was paying. Good value for the dollar and excellent location. I did have several incidents to interact with your staff and my only complaints are in those interactions. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and have had enough experience to say that the attitude of the staff towards the guests is poor and definitely below standards, even in similar priced hotels. I found the staff helpful, yet initially rude as if any request one made was a large inconvenience. Furthermore, one was to feel that even asking questions of the staff was an inappropriate thing to do as a guest. I hope you will look into this matter. Otherwise I appreciate a simple hotel offering good value in a great location."
