The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with praise going to the hotel's staff, location, and rooms.
Many guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received. Reviewers characterized the staff as friendly, bilingual and accessible.
The hotel's location was a source of numerous compliments by reviewers. They described it as being in the Latin Quarter, central, close the Metro's Sherbrooke Station, the bus station, many restaurants and pubs, and within walking distance of Old Montreal.
Several lodgers described their rooms as very large, well-equipped and modern, with attractive decor and comfortable beds and linens. It should be noted however, that some guests found the floors needed cleaning, and some complained their units required proper "finishing", like touch-up painting.
The Bad
While the majority of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them about noise transfer and the elevator.
Some guests complained of noise disturbances during their stay. They reported being able to hear guests above, workers in hallway during early morning hours, noise from events happening across the hall, and from trucks outside.
The hotel's elevator was disappointing to a few reviewers. It is an old-style, self-operated freight operator, which these guests found difficult to use, too slow, and not always available.
