The Good
Overall, the hotel received many positive comments in the reviews used for this analysis, particularly for its location and rooms.

Thee were numerous comments that the hotel rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Many reviewers who had stayed in rooms with kitchens, some with their families, commented that they appreciated the convenience and savings the kitchen provided and the comfort and spaciousness of the rooms.

There were also several comments that the staff were friendly and helpful and that the hotel location was convenient, with a metro station and many attractions within a 5-minute walk.

Many reviewers remarked that the hotel rates were reasonable and that it was good value for money overall.
The Bad
Although there were many positive comments in the reviews used, there were also some criticisms of the hotel, mostly directed toward the parking and the immediate neighbourhood.

Some guests found the location of the hotel's indoor parking lot (a street over) to be inconvenient and expensive ($15+tax/day). A few reviewers said they opted to find street parking or other lots in the area.

There were also a few comments that the hotel's location, while convenient, was in a bit of a shady area, with some homelessness and panhandling in the immediate area.

"It was very convenient and a great value. It's nice to have the kitchenette to maximize meals and the breakfast was average. The space was well used and comfortable. I would surely stay there again next time I visit Montreal."
