Some guests felt the hotel came up short in some ways.more
The breakfast buffet was disappointing for the price and some felt it was quite expensive at $19.76 (including tax) per person, but it is interesting to note that guests, who the buffet included in their particular room rate, enjoyed it.
Guests who stayed in the condos sometimes complained that: they smelled of smoke, had no ice machine in the building and they suffered with poor Wi-Fi.
Some guests felt their rooms were old, smelled musty and could use an update. Others complained of noisy AC units and poor TV reception.
The hotel doesn't really advertise the outdoor pool and some mentioned it was awkwardly located. One reviewer wrote, "Oh and if you're looking for a nice big pool to kick back and relax in, Le Nouvel Hotel is not the best spot. The pool is really small, and the pathway to it is pretty creepy through the back of the hotel via a door leading to an abandoned hallway and then a door you push outside."
