The Good
Guests found this a comfortable hotel in a good location and many planned to return.

Staff were a highlight, with many guests conveying that these were very nice people who provided first class service.

The hotel's location was another plus. Guests liked being in walking distance to Montreal's major universities, museums and Mont Royal Park. As well, many enjoyed exploring the boutiques and restaurants in the immediate area.

Guests who chose to dine on site invariably enjoyed their meals.

Many guests enjoyed clean and comfortable rooms. Guests also enjoyed the king beds, the quiet climate control and the modern decor of their rooms.

The Bad
A few negative comments surfaced in the reviews, which seemed to result from guests who were looking for a completely modern 5-star hotel and did not appreciate the more trendy boutique concept of a room with ultra modern decor in an older building.

For these guests, rooms and bathrooms were small and did not offer the luxury expected for the price.

Although the hotel has renovated the rooms, common areas are currently being renovated, and some recent guests were disappointed to find the hotel's common areas dated.

Guests who stayed in rooms near the elevator complained of noise disturbance.

Although the Wi-Fi is rated as excellent by reviewers in online surveys, a few guests had difficulty with it at the hotel.
