This no-frills hotel offers a budget stay a 3-minute drive from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) with free airport shuttle.
The hotel is smoke free and pet free. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, free local calls, cable TV, a desk and air conditioning. Some rooms come with a coffeemaker and mini-fridge. Hair dryers are supplied upon request at the front desk.
Free parking is available on site. A free 24-hour airport and VIA Rail train station shuttle operates on demand and guests must call from the hotel for a pick up. Park and fly rates are available with certain rates and currently include 7 days of extended parking in a gated lot.
Free basic breakfast is available and consists of muffins, toast, coffee and juice. There is no restaurant on site but the Restaurant Bar Focaccio is a 2-minute walk away.
Les Jardins Dorval (Walmart, The Bay, restaurants) is a 15-minute walk away (or 4-minute drive), and the Plaza Cote Vertu, a large mall with many restaurants and a movie theatre, is a 16-minute drive. The hotel is situated off of the Autoroute 20, a major east-west highway that will take travellers downtown in about 20 minutes. (All travel times: Google Maps)

There was an airport shuttle service that was very quick and convenient and this was the most complimented aspect of the hotel.
Guests liked being able to leave their cars in a secure locked lot while they travelled.
Although very basic, guests often said the rooms were clean with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms.
Some guests liked being able to access a basic breakfast very early when leaving for a flight and some were pleased with the Italian restaurant (Restaurant Bar Focaccio) just down the street.

A lack of an elevator was a strain for some guests, who had to deal with heavy luggage and no offer to help. One recent guest reported, "I had to take my own luggage inside ...travelling with a baby was hard."
Some said the hotel needed upgrades. They mentioned older TVs, old bed linens, yellowed pillow cases, stained ceiling tiles, an odd/smoke/musty smell, and no real temperature control in the room with it being extremely hot.
Some felt the hotel was run down and cheaply put together. Guests complained of dirty bedding, broken glass on paintings that had not been removed, the building itself looking old and damaged, cheap furniture, stained chairs in the breakfast room, and dirty walls and floors.
Some found the Wi-Fi not working or slow in their rooms.
Breakfast was just too meager for some guests who described it as coffee in a foam cup and a mini-muffin. One recent guest put it like this, "Coffee tasted old and cheap and just bread and muffins and cookies for breakfast."
Some recent guests complained of being short changed by the hotel who they claimed would not allow for a cancellation and refund under legitimate circumstances or charged a higher rate than the one they had booked online.
Guests offered mixed opinions of the staff, some finding them friendly and helpful and some finding them rude and surly.
The rooms were not well soundproofed according to a few guests.
