There were a few guest comments that the rooms and hallways smelled musty and the ventialtion seemed poor. A few guest reviewers with rooms overlooking Sherbrooke Street found their rooms noisy, due to the street noise.
Some guest reviewers who had travelled with cars found the hotel's parking lot, located down the street at another hotel and charging $20/day, inconvenient.
And while many guest reviewers felt there was plenty of good food offered at the complimentary breakfast buffet, a few commented that the croissants and bagels were not of good quality and that there could have been more food.
A few reviewers commented that the décor was dated, and that the hotel was old and lacking in amenities. However, these were far outnumbered by reviewers who felt the hotel's lack of luxury was outweighed by its value for money.
