As well, there were numerous comments that the service provided by the hotel was excellent, with a few comments that the staff went "above and beyond".
There were some comments from reviewers who found the restaurant, especially the breakfast, to be overpriced. And there were some isolated comments about slow service from the staff, but these were far outnumbered by comments praising the staff.

"I had booked a Rendezvous for Two stay; but the staff seemed oblivious to this and I mentioned it. We had a junior suite. The room size and extra bathroom were great. But the decor needs updating. Everything was mismatched. For the money I was spending the room was an eye sore. A distraction to the senses."
