Located about a 5-minute walk from Berri-UQAM Metro Station, a 4-minute walk from Central Station and a 6-minute drive from Montreal's city centre, Hotel Europeenne is suitable for travellers who prefer a centrally located hotel with easy access to public transit and a free breakfast.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a desk, a seating area and a private bathroom with a hair dryer. Irons and ironing boards are available upon request and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

The hotel also offers 24-hour reception, tour booking and assistance, a microwave and free coffee and tea in the lobby and a free breakfast. Self-parking is available nearby for an additional $12 per day and pets are not permitted. 

The University of Quebec at Montreal is about a 9-minute walk from the hotel, while Old Montreal can be found 7 minutes away by car. The hotel's rates were praised by numerous reviewers. They described them as budget friendly, reasonable, inexpensive and cheap.

Many lodgers were pleased with the hotel's location. They found it close to the subway, Central Station, Chinatown, restaurants, bars, the airport, Old Montreal, Ste Catherines St. and St. Denis St. A couple of lodgers described the hotel's location as sketchy, however.

Some guests were satisfied with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, quiet and functional. Some travellers had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).

While a few reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received, some were not. They characterized the staff as unfriendly, unhelpful and miserable, with some difficulties communicating in English.

A few lodgers complained of noise disturbances during their stay. They reported noise from guests in adjacent rooms and the hallways, as well as some street noise.
